We've released two updates today: one you'll see, and one you won't. Both make Oxygen better.

What's new?

Dark mode is here. Toggle it in the settings and give your eyes a break. It currently defaults to your system preference.

Supply Chain Updates

Recently, a sophisticated supply chain attack called Shai-Hulud 2.0 compromised hundreds of popular npm packages, exfiltrating credentials from developer machines and CI/CD pipelines. The attack leveraged compromised maintainer accounts to inject malicious code that executed during package installation.

Oxygen wasn't affected, but we've added several package management security measures. Oxygen uses far fewer npm modules than the industry average and has a smaller attack surface as a result. Still, supply chain attacks are getting more sophisticated and we're hardening our defenses accordingly.

Try it

Dark mode is available now in your settings. Look for the theme toggle.

The security updates are already running. Continue enjoying your un-compromised Oxygen.
